Dog Poop Bag Dispenser

February 22, 2025
Description
As the title says, this is a dog poop bag dispenser, intended for use with rolls of about 25 mm in diameter and 60 mm in length. It can hold approximately 11 rolls maximum.
It must be said, that in this design, the assembly of the parts was preffered to be done with wood screws, these being about 3 mm in diameter. For this purpose there are 6 through holes with the same inner diameter.
It is possible to glue the pieces together or use another type of joint, just keep in mind how was it thought to be assembled.
There are two iterations of the model:
● The 2-piece one (as the one in the picture):
x1 cover
x1 ramp and middle part (combined)
● The 4-piece one:
x2 covers
x1 ramp
x1 middle part
Keep in mind that the covers in each side are identical and can be used in the 2 or 4 piece versions.
Print Settings
Printed in PLA, without supports or rafts, at 0.2mm resolution and 10% infill.
Printing the parts is fairly straightforward, no need for supports or rafts.
Still, I would recommend making a 3-wall line count for extra rigidity since these are large models.
If you are printing the 4-piece version, keep in mind that the middel part (the one who secures 4 woodscrews) may fall sideways due to it's little base, so i would recomend adding manual supports or a brim.
Assembly
As indicated in the summary, the original assembly was to be done with wood screws. With this method it is as simple as screwing everything into place.
If other methods such as glue are used, you will have to find a way to align the parts correctly.
In the following GIFs we can see the different assembly procedures for the 2-piece and 4-piece versions:
