Description
Updated 12/30/21: I included a slightly trimmed down version where the back or hanging arms are flat instead of tapered. This should print a little faster and not have the layered 'steps' that are created by the horizontal tapering of the original design. I also removed some of the stepping on the face of the tray, which makes it smoother. As a result, the object file is larger.
This is a removeable hanging soap tray designed to mount on a wall with a suction cup and hook. It holds most bars of soap. It is ideal for showers where an additional soap tray is desired, or when a soap tray is needed in a specific location, without adhering a permanent tray. It is good for traveling or when multiple people share a shower, each with different bars of soap.
This design is more sturdy, tips less, and holds the soap bar better than my previous version:
Print with the object laying flat on its back on the print bed. See the included photo. The .stl file is oriented this way.
