Gelato Machine spinner

We have a Nemox 2000 gelato machine which is wonderful! (Life is always better with ice-cream...) But some mixes can be a bit viscous and solidify in the machine before they are ideally blended. (i.e. they form a solid mass in the middle of the machine that just goes 'round and 'round)

This spinner fits on the Nemox rotor and "encourages" the mix to more move towards the basin walls early in the mixing process. This means that there is less likelihood of a separation of the colder material on the bowl wall from the warmer and not-so-well blended material in the center of the bowl.

The spinner fastens under the mixer rotor and locks into place with a twist...

When you print thisplease ensure you are using a food grade filament!

This is a work in progress, as it may run through a few iterations to get best performance.

2018-08-05 Update

• a clean "food proof" seal on most edges
• tweaks to blade thickness
• improved inner spindle clearances
• tested and significantly improves mix quality on custard based ice-cream
