Magnetic Spool Holder Bracket for Creality CR-10

This is a simple bearing based spool holder that attaches to the top of the Creality CR-10 control box for smoother filament feeding and adjustable for various size spools. Designed to use 625ZZ bearings and M5x10mm button cap screws and washers. Print 2 of these brackets and use a washer between the bearing and printed part to avoid any type of binding of the bearing. The screw cap on the inside does not need a washer.

Designed for three 6mm diameter 6mm long neodymium magnets press fit into bracket to hold in place on top of control box. Adjust space between each bracket to width of desired spool. I've included SkethUp source file in case you want to adjust the diameter of the holes for different size/types of magnets.

I find routing the filament from underneath the spool to the printer works well in trapping the filament on the spool and avoiding unwinding on retractions for fuller spools.
