SD-Cards insert for stackable beer crate (v2)

Lots of devices like raspberry pi, camera, 3d printer, phones, …  uses SD-cards as storage and sooner or later you will have various cards lying around. I love the beer crates found here on printables, so I made an insert to hold the cards in place and fits nicely to my crate storage :-)

To be usefull you should print the “emtpy crate” from the linked model. 

UPDATE 17.2.2022: added a v2, this solves different issues like to tight sd-card slots, material usage, handle strength and to low micro sd-card slots (I will update photos soon)

Print Instructions

• 0% infill
• 2 Perimeters
• no support (your printer/material must be capable to handle bigger brigdes, support wont help, because it is not removable. you can increase the amount of solid top/bottom layers, if needed)
• 0.2 layer height + variable layer height to print faster
• 0.6 line width to print faster or 0.4 line width to save some material
• PLA works good
• add height range modifier from 34.5mm to top: 3 perimeters .. needed for better stability of the handle

Afterwards please use a file to soften the SD card slots and to remove any debrie. Check with your cards, they have to move move freely. In my experience cards vary in size a bit, so use the thickes you have.
