Description
I use Aqara vibration sensors in my two Priuses as an extra layer of security from catalytic converter thieves. The problem is that the sensors shut off after ~4 hours of being disconnected from a hub. Reconnecting requires pushing a tiny recessed button.
After 1-½ years of struggles pushing the button with a fingernail, I decided to remix mdkendall's Aquara Sensor Outdoor mount and make an easy-access, external button.
This model snaps on and off easily. I printed with 0.1mm layer height with supports on build plate (position with open side facing up). I set infill at 10%, but it probably would be fine at 0%. I used Hatchbox PLA, but expect to reprint with PETG soon so it's more heat tolerant inside the cars.
