Description
I love the adapter by smot! However, my extruder gets quite hot during printing, so I prefered printing it in PETG. Using supports with PETG is a pain in the a** though, so I added a shell around the adapter and added a bridge so everything works out well. The shell can be easily peeled off after printing. Also added two notches for a 12mm wrench to make screwing the fitting in easier.
Also works for PLA of course :)
Enjoy!
P.S.: If you like this design and it maybe solved some of your problems, please consider leaving a small tip :)
