Wyze Cam V3 Lack Mount

So you like watching you printer work eh, making sure it's making prints and not piles of spaghetti? Well why not slap a security camera to your enclosure to make sure nothing fishy happens the moment you step away?

The Wyze Cam V3 Lack mount allows you to mount a V3 Cam at a 45 degree angle, giving you a leveled view of your print.

The mount features a sleeve you can drop the metal washer into that is supplied with the Wyze Cam V3. 

HARDWARE:
• 2 wood screws
• Screwdriver
• Marker or Pick
• (Optional) Drill
• Washer (supplied with Wyze Cam V3)

PRINT INSTRUCTIONS
Print standing upright as already saved in file, no supports needed.

Find the ideal height you would like to place your camera. Once located hold the mount there and mark the screw hole locations with either a pen or pick.

I prefer to drill pilot holes using a drill bid slightly smaller than the wood screws, but this is optional.

Screw the mount into place using the two wood screws.

Drop the screw into the slot (Note: you can remove it at any time using either magnets or the hole in the bottom of the print using a paper clip)

Now simply place the Cam V3 base in place (You can always print more mounts to adjust height and positioning). Now you can orientate the base in any direction. To have a tighter fit the wall I recommend orientating the camera like shown to the right, with the slot facing down.

Congratulations, your printer now has zero privacy.

PRINT SETTINGS:
Filament: PETG or PLA
Nozzle Size: 0.4mm
Print Height: 0.2-0.35mm
Infill: 10-20%

EXTRA NOTES
Did you know you can adjust the focus of the Wyze Cam V3? I have done this with my camera and adjusted it to focus about 12" in front of the camera. This does require opening up the camera and voiding your warranty, but if you're interested here's a link that shows how to do that along with swapping for other lenses.
