Description
This model shows the topography and bathymetry of Crater Lake. For better looking results I recommend using PrusaSlicer's variable layer height feature. To save time print the bottom ⅓ of the model at 0.30mm layer height, and the top ⅔ at 0.10mm for better feature detail. To print the under-water portions of the model in a different color, change filament at approximately 17.50mm.
The 3MF file (Crater Lake Round Color Change.3mf) has the variable layer height and color change feature already created.
30% infill is recommended to prevent top layers from curling up and catching the PINDA probe.
The arrow on the bottom of the model points North.
