Description

Note: I noticed after I made one that it partially blocks the 40mm fan envelope. I’ll redesign it in the next few weeks so that it clears the fan envelope.

There are now 4 files for 2 parts. Each part has an IGS and an AMF file. Some people prefer one over the other. The file with '90' in it's name is rotated 90 degrees so that it does not interfere with the 40mm fan, if you so happen to have one installed. It should work in either orientation (rotated 180 degrees). Cheers!

I made this bracket for the ENC28J60 Ethernet module that I used in my Checkmate A1500 Plus case, these are readily available on eBay, AliExpress, and Banggood.

A note: there are some modules that come with a 1.2mm thick PCB, if you receive one of these you'll need to obtain some of those red fiber washers that come with many new computer cases, or some thin cardboard to place between the module and the bracket.

I have an Amiga A1200 motherboard with a V1200 Vampire card and wanted Ethernet capability, the simple route is the ENC28J60 module. Unfortunately, there wasn't a good way to mount it in the case. So since I wasn't using the keyboard hole in the back of the case and that the hole was large enough to pass the Ethernet connector, I decided it would be a suitable spot for the module.

The module is mounted to the bracket with M2.5x8 screws and nuts. The bracket is mounted to the A1500 case with suitable #4 sheet metal screws or self-tapping M3 screws, a fastener length of 0.25 inch or 5mm should be fine.

Print the bracket in a vertical orientation, see picture.

I've included both an IGS and AMF file for your printing pleasure.

Just remove the skirt, supports and clean out the fastener holes

How I Designed This ===================

Just simple hand tools...

All that was used to design this was a cheap 0-8" caliper from Harbor Freight, 6" rule, and Solidworks 2021.
