Duplicator i3 Plus X & Y Belt Tensioner

The engineer in me wanted something, well more engineered for a belt tensioner...something that pulled along the belt axis and was in double shear. With that goal I designed both an X and Y tensioner for my Duplicator i3 Plus. Hardware required is listed below and adjustment is meant to be done with a ball end hex.

Adjuster Bolt for Both:

• Button head Hex M3x16mm, Two M3 washers and one M3 nylock nut

X-Axis Fastners

• Belt Pins: Two M4x16mm (if you want to use a nylock nut then use an M4x18mm)
• Mounting Bolts: Two M4x12mm

Y-Axis Fastners

• Belt Pins: Two M4x16mm (if you want to use a nylock nut then use an M4x18mm)
• Mounting Bolt: Use existing M5x18mm
