Description
Original plastic control knobs on my electric stove top started to crack at the stem where it attaches to the metal shaft. Replacement knobs are expensive - too expensive!
I designed a replacement stem (all you need is to pull the metal sleeve out from the original control knob and insert it into the printed stem.
You can design your own cap or just use this one I designed to look vaguely like the one I wanted to replace. I used epoxy to glue the cap to the stem.
Original metal sleeve is required, although a tighter fit on a printed stem may suffice but the plastic would likely wear quicker.
