gemfan 3016 prop box

Simple 3 blade box for transport or storage of props. Specifically drawn to fit Gemfan 3 blade 3inch propellers, it might fit other brands as well. potentially scaled to fit larger props, but at sime point the .1mm tolerance between the lid and the case will be pretty loose the larger you go.

this is version 1, a draft that took me about 15 minutes as a proof of concept, so it is a simple, no frills box that has a lot of wiggle room inside. version 2 in the works.

insight into how I designed this. Still a rank novice IMO, A wonderful feature in Fusion 360, you can import a photo as a canvas, and if you include something that you can scale, you can calibrate the canvas using known dimensions. The calipers are perfect for this. put your marker on the open points and use the value shown as the dimension. Then you can draw your sketch around the image. game changer for sure.
