Description
Hi friends,
I don't know about you but for me, bowden extruder is a calamity. That’s why I changed the original FLSun SR extruder with a Bondtech direct drive as soon as possible.
I used the protocol (and firmware) of Cyril Guislain (https://github.com/Guilouz/Marlin-SuperRacer-MKS-Nano-V3) and the great tuto of Jocelyn Simard (JSTech) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ql5lIAr7H58&t=2s
Great work of both. Thank you to them.
Cyril modeled a piece for the filament detector without the extruder. I printed it but I was not satisfied for my use. I usually do not use the detector… except for change filament for multi color printing. The Cyril firmware has a M600 compliance but needs a new screen that I have not.
So I decided to make my own support. That is what i propose you now. It has to specification
You have to print 3 parts :
The upper and lower part are linked with a piece of filament (purple on the picture) used as a hinge.
The blocker has a long clamp and a short clamp. The long one has to be on the upper part. If it is pulled out of about 10mm, the lower part is free and can bu used normally. If you put the lower part horizontally you can push the blocker and keep the detector.
All part can be printed without support. For the upper part I made a support to simplify printing because of the angle. This false support can be cutted when print is finished. For me, I let it in place.
This is not a revolutionary piece of 3d but it is useful for me. Hope that it will be for you too.
Bonjour chez vous
