Description

This is the 4th revision of my MacBook Pro M1/M2/M3 Pro/Max 13"/14"/16" stand. Now 1 degree further back-tilted (and new text).

Pro-tip: Small macbook pros and all macbook airs need felt pads for a snug fit. Add the pads on the back of the front-side (not on the front of the backside as shown in the photos with the white/silver stands)! This gives a very snug fit, and a better angle than if the pads are added behind the macbook (see the detail photo of the black stand)! 16" shouldn't need pads.

It's also available on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5378841, and is based on a design by @julienpmorand.

I've personally tested it with 2022 16" m1 pro 2024 14" m3 pro and even a 2024 Macbook Air (both with added pads).

Changes from the original design:

  • Using much less material
  • more streamlined design
  • tilted the angle a bit more than 3 degrees back, for a more ergonomic angle

I printed with “Supports Everywhere”, 20% standard infill and brim. I've tried with Adaptive Cubic also, to save a little material and time, but it doesn't really make a huge difference.

NB:
If you need it without the text, let me know. I currently don't have the "original" without it ;)
