Blink Camera Slide-In Mount

If you own a Blink camera system, you know what an absolute pain in the posterior it is when you need to take one down to change batteries.  Though there is some variation, in general it takes excessive force to put the camera back on its swivel device.  This mounting system allows you to take the camera down with part of the mount still attached, replace the batteries in a more comfortable environment, and then just slide the tab into the slot to reinstall it.

Notes:

The tab-and-slot design was cut from the Filler filament holder (as it fits pretty nicely) but with a snap worked in to help with retention.  It's a bit looser than I'd prefer but I may tweak it as I go along.

The Base and Plate parts have little printed “flaps” that act like brims to help keep them in place on the bed of the printer; they should be snapped off or cut away after printing.

The Base can be screwed to a flat surface directly, or you can print the Pillar and use it for vertical mounting.  The mounting holes for both parts should be large enough for American deck-style screws, but are not too large for use with M4 flat-head (tapered) screws which is how I attach the pillar to the base.

Finally, the Pillar has four mounting holes for convenience; screws in either of the opposing pairs of holes should be sufficient to hold it in place.
