How I Designed This ===================

Photoshop: I took an image (ensuring a transparent background such as a PNG), colored it all black, and exported as a high resolution PNG.

Illustrator: Opened the PNG, enabled transparent background, and brought up the Trace function. Selected black and white logo from the presets, played with the "paths" slider until it looked excellent, enabled the "ignore white" box

3D and Materials - "Extrude" and change to 1pt". File > Export selection (make sure the item is selected). Name it what you want. Select Format > OBJ.
