Info:
- I am often using display covers like this one while printing at night and I like it
- but too often, I want to check the display in the dark room :)Β
- and i do not like being blinded by sharp white and blue light (even with minimized brightness in settings)Β
- so this is simple 1-layer MK3S blue light filter for night printing in dark room, which I have found useful
- you can check the display and your eyes will not hurt :)Β
- it is meant to be put directly on display (not on the black rim of the display)
- the rim is elevated and you need this print directly on display for better readability
- note that during the day, with non-transparent filament, you will not be able to see through
Β
Scale:
- please note that not all display dimensions inside the black rim may be the same, so you may need some scale adjustment on X or Y axis
Β
Print instructions:
- filament:
- use some violet or dark red filament
- I have used non-transparent violet
- if the filament would be transparent, the filter would not be so useful - probably you would need more layers used or something..
- use slow printing (20mm/s)
- 1 layer for 0.2mm layer height
- 1 perimeter
