Description
The problem with the hot end cooling fan is it blows air all over the place, it upsets the print. In my case, the print lifts off the bed as it deforms due to premature cooling of the printed part.
This is a known problem. Even E3D has been working on it.
So I made this duct to direct the air from the fan upwards, where it will not affect the print. The usual installation for these fans is to push air into the heat sink.
This mod requires the fan to be installed in reverse so as to suck air into the heat sink and force the air out and upwards away from the print. Fits 30mm fans.
