Description

This is a modular 150mm air hose adapter, that simply screws on to common flexible 150mm spiral hoses.
These hoses are commonly used by portable AC units.

The parts are done from scratch, but I did use the threads on the main adapter from wejn's design.
So a shoutout to him.

In this design there are a few options to choose from to customize it:

-The length with the optional extenders
-A type of end piece/vent if you decide to use those.
-It's possible to add mosquito/insect netting to the end piece/vent.

-The "Main_Adapter" is one big piece which screws on to the end of the air hose, and ends with a narrow slot.
To the Main_Adapter you can then add a end piece/vent, extension or a combination of both.

-The extensions come in three different lengths:
8, 12 and 15cm.
Secure it in place to the main adapter with a little bit of glue if the fit is to loose.

-The end piece/vent comes in three different types:
-"OpenEnd" which has no louvres, but makes it possible to clamp mosquito/insect netting        to the end.
-"HorizontalVent" which has one long horizontal louvre.
-"VerticalVent" which has five vertical louvres.
This part has a loose fit to the end of the main adapter/extensions in order to have clearence enough to clamp some mosquito/insect netting inside.

Printing:

Nothing should require supports to print and I printed my parts out of PETG without any problems.

I used 5 perimeters (to get solid thin walls) and 10% gyroid infill.

Post print:

I just used some cheap mosquito/insect netting that is normally used on windows with velcro strips.
Just cut a ~22x8cm rectangle of netting, trim the corners a bit and it should fit pretty well without sticking out underneath too much..
When the size and trimming seems good enough just add some glue around the brim and press the end piece/vent in place.
If there are any tufts of netting peeking out from underneath the edges just slice them off with a scalpel or sharp knife.

General info:

The parts shown in the photos are:
-Main adapter
-8cm extension
-Vertical vent.
