Description
I have a steady supply of empty unrefillable gas canisters (2.2 liters) and was looking for something to do with them other than just throwing them away (they can not be refilled).
So I created a set of “Bird Bunkers” (because of the steel shell that is used for the main housing).
I painted the bottles (steel shell) in some funky colors and thought of a roof that would go well with the bottle.
I know an owl as a birdhouse is not a logical choice and no sain bird would ever fly into the mouth of something with big eyes but … this one was commissioned by a little girl who is all into owls … let's hope she loves this one …
This one prints with supports as set up in the *-printfile.3MF files … I did not find a way around this (allthough I try to do this for all my models). I did make sure the support is all on the “inside” of the models so the “outside” is undamaged and looks as it should.
This one also needs some extra hardware … 3 bolts, nuts and washers … I use M4-16 inbus bolts.
#2022-11-07: added printable files of bottles (I forgot because I have the metal version to use).
