Description
A handy little clip/holder that is small enough to leave on a compact EDC flashlight, but is there for when you need hands-free light. The design is fully parametric so you can customise to fit your combination of spectacle frame and flashlight - all settings are annotated at the top of the .SCAD file.
Default settings are for the combination shown in the photo - a thin metal-armed pair of specs and my own favourite EDC flashlight, the Olight i3E EOS which takes a AAA battery. This design probably wouldn't work very well with superlight wiry rimless frames but should work with most other types. I have used this for a year and a half now and find it to be one of those “when you need it, you need it”-type prints.
Uses about 0.6m of filament at default 20mm length and prints very quickly.
Print upright (as oriented in files) with 100% infill.
I personally use PETG for everything but PLA would probably work just fine as long as you don't overdo the retaining barb ratio.
