Description
My Mom lost the quick release plate so I measured mine and modeled a replacement in Fusion 360. If your tolerances are good it should slide in easily and click solidly on the latch. There isno slop once installed. The twist lock on the latch still works.
The version uploaded here is the fifth variation after printing, testing, adjusting.
The PETG provided a very strong layer bond. Would mount my expensive SLR with this screw? Nope; but a point and shoot should be just fine.
I used TPU for an insert and glued it in. But if you can't print flexible material you could easily print it out of PETG or PLA and glue it in to fill the space. Or maybe cut a section of thin rubber mat to fit.
Feel free to use and modify. Enjoy!

Notes:
Print with the base of the plate on the bed. I used a cylinder support enforcer in PrusaSlicer to support just the flat section of the screw hole.
The screw printed very well with the screw head on the bed. I rotated the screw so that the driver slot was offset 90 degrees from the seam.License:
