Description

I wanted to make use of all the space available on the bottom of my NR200, so I made this adapter to fit two 140mm fans instead of having two 120mm fans and some unused space. I made this 9.5mm high in order to fit the adapter and fans underneath a 2-slot GPU (such as the 30XX FE series).

I printed this and then added two 140mm Noctua Redux (25mm) fans on top, and the height is absolutely perfect for my 3080 FE. My GPU has 0 sag because it sits directly on top of the 140mm fans, there is literally no room to sag. The GPU's fans both spin freely and temps for both CPU and GPU are ~2c lower compared to the 2x120mm fans I was using before, at about the same noise level. It's not a revolutionary improvement, but I really like the end result.

Please note: If you plan on using the very popular Arctic P14 series of fans, those are 27mm instead of the standard 25mm, so you should reduce the height when printing by 2mm (to 7.5mm) to compensate. Also if you are using a GPU wider than 2 slots, this probably won't work at all.

March 26, 2021 Update: After printing this, I found the holes were off, so I redesigned it and reuploaded a new file.

April 6, 2021 Update: I got a request for a replacement top that would support a top-mounted AiO using slim fans. I'm not sure if this'll work or not, but it shouldn't be too different from the DIY mods where you just butcher the original injection molded piece to accomplish the same result. THIS IS UNTESTED! Let me know if you print it how it works out for you. Note that this file is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4678047

December 22, 2021 Update: I got a request to add a split version that is suitable for smaller printers. You'll just need to print 2 copies of the split file to get the same result as the original file.
