Hot Air Wand Revised Case

The hot air wand I modified is from Banggood.  It's known as the JCD 8858 700W Hot Air Heater Micro Rework Soldering Station.

My hot air wand came with a very ordinary case, more like a power brick than a desk controller for the wand.  This project takes the contents of the power brick and places it into a custom designed 3D printed case and enhancing it.

My design of the air wand controller case also incorporates a power switch.  The membrane buttons are replaced by physical buttons, too.  For easy use, all the controls are now presented in a sloped front panel.

My print is made in PETG 1.75mm eSUN grey filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer.
