Pumpkin Pi

Simple model, pulled together in Tinkercad for more practice in 3D design. Seems simple enough but took several edits to get rid of all the 3D print supports require for the original.

Originally designed as a single print award style model using layer pauses to change out the filament colors, I had multiple failed attempts to use supports and get the Pi symbol curled-under-overhang to print. Either the supports were not strong enough and the curl would break off or fall over or the printer head would push or pull it down before it was connected to the rest of the symbol. I tried stronger, thicker and more supports till it just wasn't worth it anymore for a gimmick design. I decided it could be done easy if I split it up and put the Pi on its side.
