Description
The handle on our kitchen broom has been broken for some time. I finally got sick of stabbing my hand on the sharp metal end. It is a 1 inch diameter broom stick.
I used the regular model on mine. It fit, but it had a little wiggle room to it and still rotated. I dumped super glue in the gap before permanently placing it.
I made a version with a larger inner shaft. It is still tapered at one end, but it was a little too tight for my broom. Probably because the end of the broomstick was a little deformed. Maybe someone else could benefit from it.
Printer: Original Prusa i3 MK2
Rafts: No
Supports: No
Resolution: 0.2
Infill: 20%
Notes:
Rotate the model so it stands upright. Not sure why it exports on its side.
The outer shell is a little fragile until it is on a broomstick. My 4 year old broke my first attempt. You may add glue in between the gap for a more permanent placement.
