Description
EDIT TWO YEARS LATER - I know a lot of people actually like these a lot more than I did, but really I have a much better version now - if you are interested you can find them HERE.
Because the world is a wonderful place full of diverse needs, I am uploading this model! I've always fancied a set of stackable painters' pyramids. They'd make me look like the real deal I thought, so I eventually got around to drawing a set and printing them.
I don't think I've been so disappointed in a print in use before!
They work, I begrudgingly admit that. Particularly on flat objects if you don't want to move them around, they are great, so if that's your thing please enjoy them. Each one uses less than half a metre of filament, so it won't cost a fortune to find out.
For my use they are just too light, so I popped a dob of hot glue underneath to keep them from moving and that works well. The thing is, for less effort I can just whack a couple of panel pins in a stray board, exactly where I want them, bend them to shape and pull ‘em out when I’ve finished, as I have always done.
At least these are stackable, so they only take up a microdot of space in my drawer.
WARNING - if you don't wear shoes, don't drop them on the floor - these things make Lego feel like marshmallow if you stand on them!
