3D Solutech Masterspool for 608 Bearing

This is remix of my original #Masterspool to integrate a 608 bearing right into the hub.

3D Solutech is a US based filament manufacturer that is starting to provide Masterspool filaments.

This design is specific to 3D Solutech Masterspool filament with a cardboard core that has the following dimensions:

Masterspool Filament Core DIA: 75mm

Masterspool Filament Thickness: 67mm

Masterspool MAX OD: 195mm (should print no issues on a 200x200 print bed)

I've taken design ideas from @RichRap3D Masterspool v4, which allows the user to zip-tie loaded filament to remove partially used rolls. This will allow you to print ONE Masterspool to use over multiple filaments.

Filament Loading -

1. Place Masterspool filament over Masterspool hub, aligning zip ties into slots in hub.

2. Mate Masterspool end onto Masterspool hub and screw together until zip ties cause Masterspool end to bind or stop.

3. Cut zip-ties off Masterspool filament.

4. Tighten Masterspool end to hub the remainder of the way. Do not over tighten or you may break the Masterspoool.

5. Insert free filament end into one of the slots in the outer edge when not printing.

Filament Unloading -

1. Slightly loosen Masterspool end from hub until the zip tie slots are aligned between both end and hub.

2. Insert three zip ties or Velcro straps though end of Masterspool and between Masterspool hub and cardboard tube the filament is wound on.

3. Route zip tie or Velcro around outer edge of filament and secure spooled filament.

4. Remove Masterspool end off of Masterspool hub.

5. Removed tied Masterspool filament from hub and store.

30jan2019 - Updated to v3 - 608 bearings had a tendency to slide inboard when a threaded rod with nuts are used against the bearings. Added a lip to the models to prevent bearings from sliding.

4nov2018 - Updated to v2 because interference fit between HUB and END was too tight. Change was done to END part only. Updated text layout to fit better on model.

3nov2018 - Updated HUB ID from original design to directly incorporate a 608 bearing. Modified HUB part to reduce printing time/filament and added three ribs for support.

You'll need to press-fit a 608 Roller Blade/Skate bearing into each printed piece at the outer edge.

Bearing dimensions are: 22mm dia x 7mm thick.
