Proxxon Micromot Drill Press

This is an older project I have finally got round to uploading! A drill press stand designed to fit the Proxxon Micromot 60E/F. It also gave me a chance to try out my laser cutter at the time. Unfortunately there isn't much in the way of instructions, but hopefully the labelled views are self explanatory. I have also included the svg files that you can use to cut out the plywood base.

ALTERNATIVES

If you don't have access to a laser cutter or want to have simple build, use the STL file: base_printed. This replaces the lower part of the project with a solid printed part

You will need a few extra bits and bobs to complete this project. I will include a link to some example parts from amazon:

-   2 X Extension Springs OD 5.5mm x 35mm (you could also use a piece of bungie chord looping around inside the part)
-   2 X M4 washers
-   5 X M4 HexHead Bolt 16mm
-   5 X M4 Countersunk Bolt 12mm
-   5 X M4 Countersunk Bolt 16mm
-   2 X M4 Countersunk Bolt 20mm
-   15 X M4 Threaded Insert 
-   5 X 30mm Foam Pads
-   About 400mm of tubing OD 20mm
