Description
The end cap for my brabantia top-spin clothes dryer decided to take an extended leave-of-absence. In the interest of not poking holes into sheets draped over the ends of my otherwise excellent clothesline, I designed a suitable replacement part. The part securely snaps on the end of the aluminum dryer arms and is held in place using a couple of “ramps.”
My part features rounded corners on the top, so you don't need to worry about sharp corners damaging any clothes draped over the ends. The caps feature a similar hook as the original part for drying with a clotheshanger.
(note pictures are taken from an earlier iteration with a more curved hook – the more-recent model uploaded better matches the original part)
Recommended orientation is the way the model STL files are oriented. Supports should not be needed, but if your printer is struggling to print the hooked version's 27mm bridges, try using the version without a hook.
