Description
If you are interested in making photos with 19th century optics but do not have the time and resorces to get into large format photography I designed something that might be of use to you.
This adaptor allowes you to use old, large format lenses with modern cameras.
It consists of two 3D printed adaptors (one acts as a lens board and one connects bellows to the camera) and also m42 macro bellows (they are probably the cheapest and you do not need more than one sliding control).
I use this with a Sony a6300 so the back adaptor is m42 to E-mount.
The extension of the bellows limits compatible focal lenghts, I tried it with a 300mm and infinity focus wasn't approachable.
The lens used for sample photos is a Petzval design from a late 19th century magic lantern and it gives some very interesting results.
