MagSafe iPhone Charger Shell for Volvo Roller-Close Center Console

Introduction

A MagSafe shell enclosure to hide charging cables and to create a landing spot for an iPhone in your Volvo center console. Designed for 2016+ Volvos with a roller-close dual cupholder and 12V receptacle recess between driver and front passenger. 

Intentionally designed so that the roller can still entirely close. 

Requirements 

Apart from the MagSafe puck, this print requires a very low profile 12V to USB-C converter, such as this along with a ninety-degree USB-C adapter such as this.

Choosing a Model

The height of the MagSafe collar above the support platform accommodates different camera bumps and case thickness, and the position of the aperture supports different phone sizes. Choose the parameter set that most closely matches your phone if you'd like optimal positioning, else I recommend choosing the iPhone Pro Max sizes (~160mm) for maximum compatibility.

Print Instructions

This prints best inverted, with the MagSafe collar facing the build plate, requiring supports below the platform surface. I'm experimenting with a multi-part model, but the supported printing works great for now.
