This replaces the bottom plate with the fixed pump from the Summer Waves pool (Polygroup) SFX-Skimmers. With the new bottom plate you can mount a 38mm Intex outlet and attach a Intex filter very easily (1.5" Intex hoses). All changes can be undone, so warranty shouldn't be affected.
The blind plug is used to close the 1.25" (SFX600/SFX1000) or 1.5" (SFX1500) connector on the Summer Waves SFX-Skimmer (previously the outlet of the original pump). Use one of the clamps of the original hose to secure the cap. Perhaps you need to scale this part +/- 0.5 Percent for tight fit (depends on your Printer), the default size should work for most printers. The inner diameter for e.g. SFX 600/1000 Skimmer should be around 31.6 to 31.75mm (1.25 Inch).
Tested with a SFX600 filter/skimmer. Should also fit the other SFX-models like SFX1000. For SFX1500 there is a separate adapter (select the appropriate file).
Instructions:
- print both parts
- check the inner diameter of the blind cap (see above)!
- mount the Intex outlet parts (Intex 10744, 10256, 10255) to the printed bottom part
- remove the original plate with the pump from the Summer Waves SFX-Skimmer. (unscrew the big nut a the bottom of the SFX-Skimmer). You can save the original part for back-conversion.
- ensure that the O-ring is in place at the bottom of the skimmer
- insert the printed bottom plate and tighten the big screw to the SFX-Skimmer
- connect your Intex hoses and pump
- cover the now unused pump connector on the SFX-Skimmer with the blind plug and secure it with a clamp from the 1.25" Summer Waves hose.

- If you get a Intex 26004 or 26005 Set these parts are included.
- one clamp of the original Summer Waves SFX-Skimmer hose
Print instructions
- I highly recommend ASA or ABS, finishing with acceton-vapor for a smooth and water proof surface
- 8 layers bottom/top
- 4 perimeters wall thickness
- 0.2mm layer
- 25% to 35% infill
- no supports needed
- with ASA / ABS use a 6mm brim
