Gas Meter Sensor Mount

A holder for D-Z73 reed switch to attach non-invasively to an Actaris gas meter. The meter has two small raised posts which allows the mount to be press-fit into place.

The reed switch is attached to an Aqara Zigbee magnetic door/window sensor, which has been modified to connect an external reed switch.

Assembly

• Reed switch sensor slides into the holder which is press fit on to the meter
• The reed switch sensor is attached to GND and DI+ connections on the Aqara magnetic sensor PCB. Remember to drill a small hole in the case before soldering the wires to the PCB.
