Description
This is a guy support for the MFJ 1916/1917 extendible fiberglass mast guy, and mast topper suitable to suspend wire antennas at a little more 10m in height. I designed it to be for deployment in the field for amateur radio use, specifically for Field Day. I wanted a sturdy parts that slid into place on the 1916 so I designed this.
This was based on watching K8MRD's great videos YouTube on how he non-scandalously assembles his.
Printer: Voron 2.4
Layer height: 0.2
Infill: 40%
Material: ABS
Perimeters: 5
I have tested this part successfully in 20-25mph winds. The top of the mast bent and flexed as the wind blew but stayed upright.
