F150 Rear Seat Release

This was designed to be very minimalist and a quick print. Feel free to make and sell these if you want but please be sure to give me credit for the design.

My truck is a 2010 F150. But I know it works for multiple years near mine at a minimum. I would say there is a good chance it would fit just about any F150 but I could be wrong. If it doesn't work for your F150 let me know what size hole you need and I can make a new model for it. If you have another brand of truck that could use a similar design with a different size hole please contact me and I can make it for you really quick.

You need a bit of paracord or another type of line to connect to this part. I tied the other end of my paracord around the metal post that is part of the head rest.

Trickiest part of this hole build is lower the seat the first time so you can install this lol. I recommend a wrench with a fully enclosed end. Reach behind your seat with it and feel around until you can get the closed end around the pin.

I recommend printing from higher temp materials such a PETG or ABS. PLA might deform and fail in vehicles when it gets hot. I know my PLA prints failed during a Houston Texas summer so you have been warned.

Use 4 walls and 50% infill to ensure you don't need to remake the part any time soon.
