Description
NOTE! I have made a remix of this design, incorporating fixes and new features.
You can find the new model here:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This drilling jig can be used to drill holes perpendicular to a surface.
I have made it for my Bosch cordless drill (Bosch GSR 12V-15 FC), but decided to make it more universal by using a locking ring that can be adapted to fit the cordless drills to the fixture.
It is quite easy to adapt to tools from other manufacturers, by modifying the included adapter locking ring STEP- or F3D-design file (This adapter ring only fits the larger fixture).
The hard part is measuring the tools dimensions precisely. Some are cylindrical, others are conical and other factors may also have to be accounted for. The clearance (default: 0.15 mm) between fixture and adapter can be edited in the parameterized F3D-design file.
Please share your STL-file if you do make another adapter :-)

Chris_300m made an adapter that fits the smaller fixture for a Festool TPC/TDC:

Chris_300m made a larger base for heavier drills:

I designed the jig for 8mm linear rods and bushings commonly used in 3D printers.
It might not be necessary to use expensive linear bushings or bearings. You can instead print the included bushing, but beware that this is not ideal and that some tweaking to your filament settings may be necessary.
Necessary screws and nuts are listed in the file “additional parts.txt”
