Louvered door hook

This simple hook can be used to hang anything to a louvered door. Simply slide it in place and hang whatever you need. We now use these for keys, bags, and even bicycle helmets!

Did you know that louvered or vented doors often have standard sizes? The ones we have are standard ¼" x 1 ¼" slats, so we made this hook to match those dimensions. We can add more sizes later on.

This print consumes very little material, yet it is quite sturdy.  However, be aware that the slats from these doors are usually not very rigid. They can bend excessively and get damaged if you hang too much weight on them. To minimize this, you can hang the heavier objects towards the ends of the slats so they don't bend too much. 

It does not need any support to print, and we used simple PLA filament which has been working just fine. 

We printed these at 0.2 mm layer height using a 0.4 mm nozzle.
