Description
I bought the BTT (BigTreeTech) SKR E3 Turbo motherboard for my Ender 5 Pro. I noticed that this board is bigger than all the other Ender 3 compatible ones (Creality 8-bit and 32-bit ones, SKR E3 mini, EZBoard, etc.). So, the easier fix to make it fit inside the Ender 5 housing is moving the PSU a little to the left.
With four units of this adapter you can place the PSU inside the Ender 5 housing and leave enough room for this SKR E3 Turbo board, giving your Ender 5 a huge upgrade with double extruder and LPC1769 performance! Without affecting the PSU cooling window!
You have to glue 4 M8 sized bolts with Locktite to one side of these adapters. That side will be facing the PSU, so the screw that comes from outside the Ender 5 housing can hold the PSU perfectly.
NOTE: in case you don't know where the PSU screws are, they are under the Ender 5 (Pro) sticker on top of the housing. Just make a hole for each one or remove the whole sticky mat: https://imgur.com/h5JcAry
