Description
The Netgear MR 1100 hotspot gets hot very easily, and shuts down. Â This Cooling case is designed to keep it cool even when under heavy load. Â A small 40mm noctua fan is attached to the bottom of the case and is powered by the USB A output from the MR 1100. Â A right angle usb A connector is used to connect the fan to the usb a outlet. Â Cut the female side of the connector off and connect the Black and Red wires from the USB A male side to the corresponding black and Red wires of the Noctua 40mm fan. Â The fan runs completely silent using a small amount of power. Â It can run off the MR100 battery, or while connected to USB C power.
Needs 4 x 3.0 x 14mm cap screws to attach the fan to the bottom
See Amazon photos for the fan and the usb connector
