Description
ULTiM8x8 modular, no-solder, RGB LED cube. Get yours here: http://wyolum.com/ultim8x8/
Print the half cube, or print three faces and glue them together.
Mount the LED panels to the cube using the screws included with the ULTiM8x8. I used crimp connectors to wire the LEDs, but you could probably just use washers and wrap the wire around the screws before attaching them.
I created this in Fusion 360 using this file for the hole placement: https://github.com/wyolum/ultim8x8/blob/master/fabricate/ultim8x\_cube02/cube02\_outerface.svg
Printer Brand: Wanhao
Printer: Duplicator 6
Rafts: Doesn't Matter
Supports: Yes
Resolution: .15
Infill: 20
Notes:
I used supports because the Duplicator 6 isn't great at bridging the tops of the holes. With other printers, or with better part cooling, supports are probably not needed.
