Description

A slightly remixed version of Zel's great Refrigerator Note Toggle. I added an indent to each lever to prevent the toggle from wandering around when pressed. The small groove on the back seems make the toggle action a little bit snappier reducing the roll over.

The concept remains the same: Slice the file with a pause inserted when the slots are printed but not yet covered. To facilitate the process i recommend you to slice a brim  so your print doesn't coe loose while inserting the magnets. To make sure they wont escape use some drops of super glue. Here is an easy to follow tutorial by Prusa Research:

As always: please be careful when working with super glue!

Beware I changed the two slot dimensions to 3.2mm x 7mm x 14mm to fit a pair of magnets with a 6mm diameter x 3mm height into each of the slots (so 4 magnets in total).

If you don't have magnets of the right size at your disposal you can easily modify the model in PrusaSlicer to make it fit in two simple steps:

1. Eliminate the existing slots by choosing “Close holes” under Print Setting > Advanced > Slicing > Slicing Mode

This fills all the slots in the existing model.

2. Create slots by adding boxes as negative volume to the model. Position them to your liking.

Hit slice and recheck positioning in preview.

Tell me what you think and if it is an actual improvement. Happy printing!

p.s.: printed in Fillamentum CristalClear Tangerine PLA.
