Round Junction Box to Nest Camera Adapter

This is a simple adapter to connect a Nest outdoor camera with floodlight to an existing external 4-inch round junction box. The adapter has a small lip to to slightly socket with the junction box to keep water out. I recommend sealing along the inside lip of the adapter with caulk to keep the electrical box watertight. The flared side matches with the Nest camera mounting ring to form a tight seal.

The Nest camera mounting screws go through the adapter to the junction box, so very little weight is supported by the adapter itself.
