Description
I needed a simple 2u DSA spacebar for my ortholinear board and didn't have access to any at the time so I just designed and 3d printed one! This is designed with extra stems so it can be used with standard mechanical keyboard stabilizers (stabs). I've only tested with Durock stabs but they should work with most others.
You don't need to use supports as long as your printer can manage some short bridges, but you may want to consider a small brim to help it stay put during printing. You should print it with the curved side facing up.
I reccomend printing with PETG as it makes sanding easier and using the smallest layer height you can manage. Even still, if you want a perfect finish, you will need to sand the keycap slightly. The cap will print just fine in PLA too.
First installation is going to be a little tight so don't be afraid to put some pressure on, unless your printer is horribly misconfigured it should push on.
