2.5" & 3.5" Vertical HDD Mount - Fan-Mounted (2x-7x, 120mm/140mm)

I needed more places to put hard drives in my home server. I found the mounts by sk_2002 and xcooling, but after printing the 4 bay version, I realized that my case had a 140mm fan mount on the bottom. some redesigning in sketchup, and two revisions later, I had these.

please note: 1) only the two-bay and three-bay versions are sized for 120mm fan mounts. the rest are all for 140mm spacing.

the mounts can be secured with standard fan mounting screws.

the holes to secure the drives have been elongated, so that you can put some vibration absorbing foam in the bottom of each bay if you like and still secure the drive in place.

the three and four-bay 140mm versions come in regular and 32mm offset styles, for additional clearance from the motherboard.

At the request of user Rabble, I have added 1 and 2 drive 140mm mounts with "possibly too much" offset, to help clear very large GPUs.

At the request of user Kit Smith, I have added v3-if "increased flow" variants of the 2 and 3 drive 120mm mounts, as well as the 3 and 4 drive 140mm mounts, both regular and offset. the spacing between the drives is doubled on these variants, hence the “increased flow” identifier.

actually fixed the damaged V2 file. new version, v2b, is visually distinguishable by trapezoidal connecting bars instead of half-round. I will investigate the other v2 files and replace as needed.

I saw the comment from user DVU that the 3 drive 120mm v2 file was not sliceable. what started out as a plan to just fix and reupload the file, turned into v3 holders. they are the same as v2, just with a new connecting structure between the halves. hexagons are, after all, the bestagons.

At the request of user Ariston, I have added a four-space 2.5" drive mount for 120mm fan locations, to accommodate very thick drives. the mount spacing is 20mm, vs 15mm for the five-space mount.

finally created and uploaded v2 files. new configuration opens up air channels between drives to improve cooling. also adds 5x 120mm and 7x 140mm 2.5" drive mounts. the mounting bars are 6mm thick, so use M3x8mm or M3x10mm screws to affix your drives.

please note: my 3D printer is currently in storage, so while I have created the files, I have not yet been able to print them to test. the 3.5" drive mounts are not a concern, but I based the 2.5" mounts on a spec sheet for mounting such drives. do let me know if the mounting is off.
