ER605 1RU Shelf

A friend recently discovered the TP-Link ER605 Firewall/Router/Switch, great device for the money! Well I needed a way to mount this in my 19nich rack. 

This 1RU shelf will allow for 1 or 2 ER605 devices to be mounted. Each mount has a holder for the Power connector which allows it to be installed prior to screwing the shelf into the rack and then slide the ER605 into the opening and have it connect to power. 

It is best to try and fit the ER605 and the Power connection before rack mounting to ensure proper alignment. 

In the future I will refine this model to better capture the power barrel to ensure it fits the first time. But for now this is very workable.

When assembling the two pieces I have used M3-12MM screws, washers, and nuts. Apologies ahead of time for the tight spot on these screw locations.

There are also blanks to allow you to print one shelf and still place this in a rack.

You will want to print this face down with supports at the build plate only, see attached image.
