Celestron Heavy Duty Tripod Spreader Clamps

My Celestron CPC 9.25" EdgeHD had two of three of these clamps broken.  Celestron will send you new ones but it's difficult to get them to work with you.  The original clamps are a one piece loop but I didn't want to have to take the legs apart to replace them, so my design is a two-piece clamp that requires a little hardware.

I designed for the hardware I had on hand, which were #10 machine screws and nuts.  You need a longer one for the back of the clamp and a shorter screw for the front.  The nuts will stay captive in hexagonal recesses in the clamp.

I printed these in PETG with 0.2mm layer height and 40% infill.

Use these at your own risk.  I only just installed them and I haven't fully tested them.  To be honest, since the original clamps were injection molded plastic, I'm not sure my PETG will do much better.  I plan to see if I can have a set CNC machined from aluminum some day.
