U6 Mesh and U7 Mesh Mount with Cable Management

Design

This mount is designed for a Unifi U6 Mesh or U7 Mesh installation on a pole. Other than the original parts, the Ethernet cable is not exposed to the environment. Instead, the mount allows the cable to run directly into the pole. To complete a full cable management, the bottom part allows the cable to run down or directly into the wall.

In addition to the Mid*.stl and Bottom*.stl wall mounts, this model provides a general purpose plain alternative. Mid and Bottom options come with 2 parts each: they can be attached with other stuff blocking the pole already.

The pole's diameter is 20mm. The inner diameter will be 18mm typically. Even bulky RJ45 plugs with go easily through this diameter.

Printing

Good with standard settings 0.2mm layer height and 0.4mm nozzle. For outdoor use, PETG is recommended. The U7 Mount part requires some support in the bottom, I used organic from build plate. BottomBackLeft.stl works nicely with organic support from build plate. Other parts are printed without support.

Additional parts required

• 8 x screws for the wall mount

• 1-2 screws provided as part of the original mount

• 20mm aluminium pole (we use it with a 2 meters length)
