This is a heavy remix of the E-TOXX Foldable Boardstand (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3339894).
I ran with the general profile and made some major modifications to create a strong & stable board stand.
- Designed to allow for very tight motor-truck spacing (aka gear drives) - fits either truck
- Designed to assemble with no fasteners required (snug fit and 3D printed pins)
- Shorter overall height (Now fits 9" dia tires)
- No moving parts
- Smaller parts = shorter print time
- No support required during printing
- Entire stand prints at once on a 225x225 / 250x210 or larger bed (~18 hours)
- Very strong and stable
- Fits any truck size/profile
Print Settings:
- 0.2mm layers
- 20% infill (I prefer gyroid)
- At least 6 solid perimeters and top/bottom layers (key to strength)
- No support
- PLA or better
Notes:
- You need QTY 2 CROSSBARS
- You need QTY 2 UPRIGHTS
- You need QTY 4 PINS
- Print pins laying horizontal on the bed.
- Print one of each size pin (small, medium, large) and test fit. Pins should be snug but not impossible to assemble. Once you've found the correct gap/tolerance for your printer, print the full set of 4
- Alternatively, plastic pins can be replaced y M4x25mm (or 8-32 x 1") bolts & nuts
- All parts are symmetric - assemble parts in any direction
